TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Participating Venues (defined below) and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Entries into the promotion open on 01/06/2025 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 28/06/2025 (“Promotional Period”).
A participating venue is any of the on-premise venues in New South Wales and Queensland listed below that displays advertising material for this promotion during the Promotional Period and stocks Eligible Products (as defined below):
Eden Brewhouse, 381 Redbank Plains Rd, Redbank Plains QLD 4301;
Commercial Hotel Redbank, 72 Brisbane Rd, Redbank QLD 4301;
Saltwater Creek Hotel, 40 Siganto Dr, Helensvale QLD 4212; and
O'Donoghues, 99 Great Western Hwy Emu Plains NSW 2750
(each a “Participating Venue”).
To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase any Canadian Club draught products (each an “Eligible Product”) from a Participating Venue (“Qualifying Transaction”) during the Promotional Period. In the event that a purchase receipt is not provided to an entrant for their Qualifying Transaction, it is the entrant's responsibility to request such materials.
To enter, individuals must then, during the Promotional Period, visit www.redcapenzcanadactw.ccpromotions.com.au and follow the prompts to the promotion entry page, input the requested details (including but not limited to their full name, full mailing address, phone number, email, and date of birth), upload a copy of their purchase receipt and submit the fully completed entry form.
Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per Qualifying Transaction (regardless of the number of Eligible Products purchased in excess of one (1) in that transaction); (b) a maximum of two (2) entries per person per day is permitted; and (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
Entrants must retain a copy of their purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant's entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the product purchased, Participating Venue of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
The draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, Level 3, 162 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000 on 1 July 2025 at 11am AEST, in the presence of an independent scrutineer. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. Winner will be notified by email and telephone within two (2) business days of the draw and their details (first initial, surname and postcode) will be published online at www.redcapenzcanadactw.ccpromotions.com.au from 8 July 2025.
The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The first valid entry drawn (“Winner”) will win a trip for two (2) adults to the Winner's choice of either:
Vancouver, Canada valued at up to AU$21,000 (depending on date and point of departure) (“Canada Prize”); OR
Queenstown, New Zealand valued at up to AU$21,000 (depending on date and point of departure) (“New Zealand Prize”)
Each of these prizes is the “Major Prize”.
Canada Prize includes:
Two (2) x return economy airfares from the winner's nearest capital city to Vancouver, Canada;
Private return airport transfers for two (2) adults from airport to accommodation in Vancouver;
Five (5) day car hire to explore Vancouver, Whistler and surrounds;
Six (6) nights' four-star accommodation for two (2) adults including:
Three (3) nights in Whistler;
One (1) night in a log cabin in or near Whistler and
Two (2) nights in Vancouver;
An ATV tour experience for two (2) adults through the Whistler backcountry;
One Canadian Club merchandise pack for the Winner only;
AUD $500 spending money for the Winner only awarded in the form of an electronic funds transfer (“EFT”) to the Winner's nominated Australian bank account; and
Comprehensive travel insurance for two (2) adults (subject to the travellers having no pre-existing health conditions and being under 59 years of age).
New Zealand Prize includes:
Two (2) x return economy airfares from the winner's nearest capital city to Queenstown, New Zealand;
Private return airport transfers for two (2) adults from airport to accommodation in Queenstown;
Two (2) nights' twin/double share accommodation for two (2) adults at a 4-star hotel in Queenstown;
A dining experience for two (2) adults in Queenstown;
Five (5) day car hire for a self-drive experience to Mount Cook;
Four (4) nights' twin/double share 4-star accommodation at a property in the Mount Cook region for two (2) adults;
A heli-hike experience to explore the Tasman Glacier for two (2) adults (“Heli-Hike”);
A premium Canadian Club dinner experience with matched Canadian Club cocktails in the Mount Cook region for two (2) adults;
One Canadian Club merchandise pack for the Winner only;
Spa experience voucher valued at AU$200 each for the Winner and their companion;
AUD $500 spending money for the Winner only awarded in the form of an electronic funds transfer (“EFT”) to the Winner's nominated Australian bank account; and
Comprehensive travel insurance for two (2) adults (subject to the travellers having no pre-existing health conditions and being under 59 years of age).
Additional spending money, additional transfers, meals (other than those included), taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), passports, ETA, visas, vaccination, transport to and from departure point, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included in the Major Prize. The Major Prize is subject to booking and flight availability and the Canada Prize must be taken between April 2026 and September 2026 and the New Zealand Prize must be taken between October 2026 to March 2027. Availability cannot be guaranteed during Christmas, school holidays and special event periods.
The Winner and their companion must finalise the prize booking within two (2) months of the date they successfully claimed the prize and were verified as the valid winner. Travel must be booked at least sixty (60) days prior to the intended departure date. All travel must be completed within twenty (20) months of the prize draw.
The Winner and their companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Promoter to select travel suppliers in its absolute discretion. Should the Winner wish to extend their trip, permission must be sought from the Promoter who will decide in its absolute discretion. In the event that the Promoter agrees for the Winner to extend their trip, all additional expenses to extend will be at the Winner's own expense, including any additional cost to extend their travel insurance policy. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Major Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in. For clarity, the Winner's travel companion must be aged 18 years or over.
The Winner and their companion are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite visas including an ETA for the Canada Prize, vaccinations and travel documentation.
The winner acknowledges that the legal drinking age in Canada is 19 years and older in every province and territory except Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta where it is 18 years and older.
The type of rental car provided is subject to availability and any rental conditions. Winner must meet all the rental conditions for car hire as prescribed by the car rental company. If the Winner doesn't meet the criteria they must nominate a guest who meets the car rental company's requirements and the guest must be the nominated driver on the rental agreement. A daily surcharge applies to all drivers under the age of 25 for the hire car. The Promoter will be responsible for the payment of this surcharge. It is recommended that the Winner and/or their companion obtain an international driver's licence.
The Winner and their companion will each be required to fully complete a travel insurance application form provided by the Promoter, and may also be required to undergo medical tests as required by the Promoter's nominated travel insurer, in order to redeem the travel insurance element of the prize. Any person found guilty of insurance fraud or failure to honestly and accurately disclose all relevant insurance information at the time of applying for a travel insurance policy or when making a claim forfeits any rights or entitlements to the travel insurance element of the prize. Travel insurance will be provided by the Promoter's nominated travel insurer, and subject to approval by the travel insurer. In the event that the Promoter's nominated travel insurer refuses to issue insurance to the Winner and/or their companion, the Winner forfeits that travel insurance element of the Major Prize. Travel insurance is subject to the terms and conditions issued by the Promoter's nominated travel insurer, including but not limited to any limitations on the covered amount.
The Winner acknowledges that maximum weight and luggage restrictions apply to the Heli-Hike and the flight is weather dependent. Participation in the Heli-Hike is subject to supplier safety conditions. To participate, guests must:
weigh less than 115kg (253.5lb);
not be more than 12 weeks pregnant;
be over 10 years of age, weigh at least 35kg, and be at least 137cm tall;
not be under the influence of intoxicating drugs or alcohol; and
not have been assessed by a lead guide as lacking the required fitness to complete the trip.
Existing or previous medical conditions (including but not limited to ankle or knee injuries, ACL damage, joint replacements or dislocations, neck or back injuries, heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, and severe asthma) may impact participation. Guests are strongly encouraged to consult their medical practitioner prior to booking if they have any concerns. Participation in the Heli-Hike may also be restricted on the day by the guides based on safety assessments and glacier conditions.
The Promoter does not condone, endorse, or accept any responsibility for any activities undertaken by the Winner or their companion that are illegal, unlawful, or excessively dangerous and will not allow activities that they deem fall into these categories to be booked by the Promoter's prize suppliers. Participants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety guidelines. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant or revoke any prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that the participant has engaged in conduct that is illegal, reckless, or poses a significant risk to themselves or others. The Promoter shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from such conduct.
Participants must comply with all rules, regulations, and safety requirements set forth by any supplier or third-party provider, including but not limited to accommodation, airlines, transport operators and activity providers.
Winner is responsible for providing full and accurate bank details. The Promoter will not be responsible for incorrect details being provided, a banking institution rejecting an EFT payment, or any costs associated with locating lost monies.
If for any reason the Winner does not take the Major Prize (or an element of the Major Prize) at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the Major Prize (or that element of the Major Prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the spa vouchers are not included. Any unused balance of the spa vouchers will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the spa vouchers is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the spa vouchers.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic or any other kind of disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
The Winner of the ATV tour experience or the Heli-Hike experience (each an “Activity”) and his/her companion acknowledge that the Activity is a dangerous activity that may result in injury or death, and participate at their own risk. The Winner and their companion must: (a) attend, undergo and pass any appropriate training, briefings, required medical tests and other requirements of the Promoter and Activity organisers as determined by them in their absolute discretion; (b) not have any heart condition or history thereof, or other medical conditions that would make it dangerous to participate in the Activity; (c) not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol; (d) comply with all directions of the Promoter and Activity organisers at all times; and (e) wear all safety and other equipment required. The Promoter and Activity organisers, in their absolute discretion, at all times reserve the right to: (a) prevent the Winner or their companion from participating in the Activity if, at any time, they reasonably believe that the Winner or their companion pose a safety risk or for any other reason; and/or (b) cancel the Activity if the conditions are deemed dangerous. The Activity is subject to booking availability. If the Activity is varied for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter it may not be rescheduled and no compensation will be offered.
The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at https://www.nhmrc.gov.au/health-advice/alcohol. Entry and continued participation in this promotion is subject to the licensee's liquor serving policy.
If the Major Prize (or element of the Major Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Major Prize (or element of the Major Prize) with a prize to the equal value or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Total prize pool value is up to AU$21,000.
Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
A draw for the Major Prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 5 August 2025 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The Winner, if any, will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days of the draw, and their details (first initial, surname and postcode) will be published online at www.redcapenzcanadactw.ccpromotions.com.aufrom 12 August 2025.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The Winner and their companion agree that they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or organisation apart from the Promoter or the Promoter's authorised prize supplier(s).
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if any of the activities included in the Major Prize are delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) taking of/participating in the Major Prize.
As a condition of accepting the Major Prize, the Winner (and their companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.suntoryglobalspirits.com/privacy-policy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter's Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Unless otherwise indicated by the Promoter, the Promoter may disclose PI to entities outside of Australia (for a list of the countries, see the Promoter's Privacy Policy), and cannot guarantee that any overseas recipient will not breach the Australian Privacy Principles. By entering the promotion entrants consent to the overseas transfer on these terms as permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles and agree that the Promoter is not liable in this regard.
